Shannon McKinzie, Owner
In 2011 I left Corporate America after 16 years to open Top Dog. This has been a dream of mine for more than 25 years. I am so happy and thankful to be doing something I REALLY LOVE. I handle questions, scheduling, and phone calls that get you paired with the sitter that is the perfect fit for you and your best friend. I am also the back up for all of my pet nannies in case of illness and accident to make sure that all of our furry clients are taken care of.

Natalie, Pet Nanny
NATALIE SINCLAIR, was born in Greensboro, NC, and raised in Arlington, TX. Natalie has loved two things for as long as she can remember- dogs and ballet. At the age of 3, she got her first dog (an Irish Setter named Gypsy) and took her first ballet lessons. During her childhood, she had two more dogs -a stray Cocker Spaniel named Casper and an Italian Greyhound named Marcus. At the age of 17, Natalie made her professional debut as the youngest company member with the Fort Worth Ballet and her professional career spanned 13 years – she spent 10 of those 13 years with her second Italian Greyhound, CoCo. After retiring from ballet, Natalie became a stay at home Mom – raising her son along with three Jack Russell terriers, Oliver, Ozzie, and Harriet. In 2016, Natalie got her current dog, a Border Collie named Annabelle. Natalie readily admits she’s never met a dog she hasn’t liked and Top Dog is a perfect fit for her.
Courtney, Pet Nanny
A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Courtney has been passionate about animals her whole life. Before coming to Top Dog, she worked in the clipper business for 13 years. The clipper store sells all your clipper needs for Animals and humans and she worked with Animals by showing their owners how to use the clippers on their pets and miniature horses. She also worked with horses for the summer of 2019 caring for horses and as a trail guide. Courtney has been pet sitting for years for friends and family which included Dogs, Cats, Lizards, and a Parrot.
Ledonna, Pet Nanny
Ledonna has lived in Benbrook her whole life. She resides with her 2 precious dogs named Jack and Rufus. In addition to working as a pet nanny for Top Dog she also works from home as a trauma analyst. As a child, she would “babysit” my grandparent’s dogs when they would come to visit. She would act like she was feeding them; make them take naps and cover them up with her grandma’s towels. She always had a great passion for animals of all kinds. Ledonna believes pets are people too. They have their own unique, funny personalities and they need love and companionship and with this busy world, it’s sometimes hard to do.
Robin, Pet Nanny
Robin worked at AT&T for 18 years before her office closed in 2018. She had the joy of being a stay at home Mom to her 2 amazing children. Now with her kids full-grown, it was time to get back out there. What better way than spending time with FURRBABIES. Robin has had both cats and dogs throughout her life. At present she has 2 rescue pups named Leelah and Daisy, both are Heinz 57 mutts and are completely spoiled rotten. She loves all animals and will love your babies as if they were her own.
